What Does It Take To Become An ICT Student?

 In the curriculum of the fourth year class, the ICT subject is given to the two special science classes and the first five sections in the regular class. ICT is very important to everyone. It is useful and needed by every student. This is related to a new generation, technology.

                First time to hear this subject the first idea comes to my mind is about the use of computer and the high technologies. ICT subject takes me to become an ICT student is just enjoy what we are doing. I know that there were still hard times and easy times. Many obstacles, problems, etc. but these were part of becoming an ICT student. In every trials and obstacles there is enough and useful lessons. First I took the first activities and hear the words related to this subject make my mind twist and many questions that can’t be answered without applying my skill in this subject. But because the help of my friends, classmates and specially my ICT teacher, while the time is passing by I slowly learned and easily doing our activities and exercises. And I have many lessons learned on this subject, I learned how to blog, how to used the notepad, how to link one link to other links, etc. , words like blogs, notepad were new to me and I felt like I am having an ignorance to a single word. I’m glad that there is a subject like this because as an ICT student it was very useful and educational. Because the generations we met were changing and we have to be part and to be similar with it. High technologies were developed as day or year passes by in our life. For me, everything should familiarize everything in this world. My mind gets wider and refreshes my ignorance. Everything has a reason. Every hardship has a reward. And lastly it takes me to become an ICT student is learning and applying my skills on a particular thing.

                Refreshingly, some of the parts were not easy and not so hard its just fits with our skills and the ICT subject helped us to develop some of our hidden talent and skills. We can use these things in our daily enough. Some were not on these lessons it just giving you an idea with this new generation. Don’t just ignore this subject but because you should appreciate and accept what and why this subject was teaches.

My Dream, My Future

Nowadays, in a young age up to an older age have their own dreams. By the way, what is dream? Is this dream helping us in our future? Is it important? Is it enough to say or to tell what our dream is? Is dream similar to ambition?

                Dreaming is one step forward in life. This dream serves as our guidance and also serves as our teacher because if we have no dream in life how’s our future and why we are still leaving n this world. One reason why we are living is to attain and achieve our dreams. Dreams serve as my inspiration. I can’t stop living unless I didn’t achieve my goals. To achieve this dream, I should study hard with all my heart. Because dreams are worth full. For short, dreams are like our path. The reason why I am studying is because I want to achieve my dream in life. This dream can lead me to my future. If this is useless, why there’s a word “dream”? Yes, this dream will help us in our future. Dream is very important and we should know what is our dream or what we will going to work hard with it. And dream is just like an ambition. Example my ambition is to become an accountant someday and my dream is to become successful in life.

                Lastly, my dream is my future. Without my dreams I think or I am 100% sure that I have no future. No future means not become a successful and have no work. We must work hard for our dreams and as well as our future. While we are working hard for it our future is also working for us to have a better life. And my dream is my life.

Change: It Starts With Me

Everyone wants a change in their own lives, own community and an own lifestyle of living. Every change that we want to get must have sacrifices and the things that are needed for a change. And this change can’t happen automatically. It needed an action. For others, change can never be done.

                As the year passes by, our community changes, and these changes either good or bad. Other changes or new things in this generation have benefits to others. For me a big change was needed in this generation now. And I can say that this change I want is starts with me. This change I’m talking about is a good effect to others. I’m not too selfish to have a change on my own intention and on my own environment. Every move or action that is I going to do is for a good. And to start this change is to do some things or some actions to do it. Like, joining the organizations, activities, learning, and search some tips and more on educational information about the betterment of our community. And if I know that this action or change is right I will strive and fight for it but if this action is not right I just let this pass by and don’t do it. I will ask help and campaign some teens or persons that I know that he/she is helpful and want for a change and ask their ideas to improve our community.

                Further, everyone (rich or poor, powerful or ordinary, old or child, girl or boy, etc.) deserves a change. If we had a dream, just strive more and we don’t know the change we want started from ourselves. Do what is right. Fight for it and don’t shy to share ideas and thoughts to others because every single word was important. Note: if some words or thoughts were missing we can’t complete our statement. Just like the change we want, if more talk and less work the change that we dreaming of was we can never ever achieve it.

Kannawidan: The Ylocos Festival

Every year the province of Ilocos Sur celebrating a festival this is the Kannawidan Festival. Many activities and different cultures and products made by the Ilocano. This was celebrated after the Vigan City Fiesta “Longganisa Festival”.

                It can give us information or ideas what is happening in our province. It gives idea because on the OTOP section, every town showed or make or advertising their own products. This festival is celebrated in one week; day or night there is a program. In the opening of this festival, marching bands marched; products and others were on parade. After the parade, there is long table containing food with rice. It is free for the public, eat all you can. In the day times, one town one product are on a place that parades, and they given a chance to introduced, advertised or share what their town has. And in the night times, there were so many shows that can be viewed like battle of the bands, singing contest, dance competitions, pageants, visiting of the famous artists in showbiz, zarzuela, and other shows. One reason of celebrating this occasion was because they want to entertain the tourists to have a reason to visit our province of Ilocos Sur. And for the information of others, kannawidan is stands for unity, cooperation, self-determination and to be inspired by others. Without these traits I think our nation will be full of selfishness and everyday misunderstanding. This event celebrated because they want entertainment, happiness, they want the family bonding, enjoy and a time for a rest.

                So, we must help to celebrate and continue to inspire and give happiness and enjoyment to others. And keep celebrating this event not the sake of power or famous of our province but because for others. If we have time to visit and take a look on this celebration don’t get a risk. Just go and enjoy yourself for your good.

Reflection

     Another quarter has gone and one more quarter will come.
     Many improvements had done.  In this third quarter I presumed that many activities and exercises that I've done.  I can say that this quarter is more easy and comfortable than the last quarter.  Why? because this quarter is applying and I know the tags for a notepad not like the last quarter that I don't know the tags to be used.  I can also prove it by means of successful activities.  The lessons we learned is very useful because we used this tags and links for our project.  But I have some problems like how to put an animation to a notepad.  Every single tag is very important, because if the one is missing you can't be successful in doing your notepad.
     Therefore, in the next grading I will do my very best to do more better.  Next time I will be more patient and control myself from dizziness. 

New year, New me

     2011 has past, 2012 is arrived.  New year, new me.  Start a new lifestyle.
     "New year's resolution". Honestly I have no resolution.  Why? because sometimes I can't promise to do it.  I n this year, I will do better to myself to others.  I have many plans for this year.  I will be more responsible in my studies.  If I given a chance to do it all at a time, I will do it all the way to done my plans.
     Therefore, I will do my best for my plans and to become a better person in the rest of this year.

Keeping in Mind Our MOther Tongue

          “Keeping in mind our mother tongue” was a great topic and a great thought for our mothers. This time we gave importance for the doings of our mother. Best person is our mother.

            “Mother knows best.” This was Right. Mother always knows the best for her children and the whole family. No one mother wants to harm her children or her family. Every word that she’s saying is very important and serves as our guide and inspiration in the rest of our lives. We should keep in our mind her words because her words help us in our everyday life. We can use these words for today in our future. We can also share to others the thoughts to others. Every reminders of our mother symbolizes her “LOVE”.  Some hate their mother because of always reminding and always scolding of their mother to them.

             We must love, respect and care our mother. We should keep in our mind her words. These words are not just like a word that is not important or words that is useless because her words were very useful.
